Wagner Balera holds PhD, doctorate and master’s degree awarderd by Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Balera is a Professor and Coordinator of the Post-graduation Program in Law with the same University. Former Federal Prosecutor, he has seats as an advisor to FIESP and CNTur, arbiter of PREVIC, a founding scholar of the National Academy of Insurance and Pension Plans, as well as an effective member of the IASP and the Paulista Law Academy. He was elected "Welfare Officer of the Year" by LTR Editora (2004) and earned the recognition of "Personality in Highlight of Brazilian Social Security" by SINDAP (1997), Academic Lecturer of the Chair of Social Security Law of ANSP (2000), IASP Medal of Merit 2004), Commander of the Order of Judicial Labor Merits by TST (2008), The Legal 500 and Analysis of Lawyers

He holds a post-graduation degree in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a Bachelor of Laws from Federal University of Fluminense (UFF). He studied Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He led the structuring of FIDCs NP of BRL 1.1 billion to increase the efficiency in the recovery of default investments made by Closed Entities of Complementary Pension Plans. He is a member of the Fiscal Council of ICATU-FMP.

Berbel has conducted processes of securitization of BRL 1.1 billion for closed entity of complementary pension, recovery of social security credit of BRL 1.5 billion and transfer of management of private pension plan of BRL 300 million. Former Fiscal Adviser of ASK Telecom, he has seats as deliberative advisor to ICATU-FMP and an effective member of IASP. Berbel is certified by the ICSS, and recognized by Lacca, The Legal 500 and the Analysis of Advocacy Yearbook.
